The Independent Gaming Corporation (IGC) was established by the hotel and club industries to provide a secure, centralised computer monitoring facility for the management of gaming machines in hotels and clubs in SA.
It followed the IGC being awarded the licence to monitor gaming machines in 1993 under the Gaming Machines Act 1992.
The IGC is a non-profit company, limited by guarantee and jointly owned by the AHA (SA) and the Licensed Clubs Association of SA.
The IGC also provides funding for the AHA (SA)’s highly successful “Hotel Care Community Projects” program.
